But you can call me Maddie. I am a UI designer with over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. I love to continue learning new things, collaborating with fellow creative tech people, and listening to music. I’m currently working at General Motors as a UI designer.
I’ve been a UI Designer at Mitsubishi Electric and a Product Designer at Ford, where my work directly impacted our users’ needs by making sure our products are user-friendly and intuitive. By working on collaborative and cross-functional teams, I’ve maintained complex design systems and ensured an accurate software implementations.
I'm an enthusiastic Product Designer and problem solver who is passionate about creating accessible and thoughtful user experiences. Mainly, I do this through intentional UI design decisions gathered from user interviews and design reviews with my team and developers. I believe that UX designers are better together - that collaboration helps create a strong and diverse team.
I'm a life-long learner who fell in love with design during my time at Michigan State University, where I also minored in German. I’m passionate about people, design, and psychology, and innovative exciting technology.
